Stubhy (Lucky Boys Confusion (http://www.absolutepunk.net/luckyboysconfusion)) has "put together the band with JJ Flores, Steve Smooth and have added Brian Lee, Brian Sherman and Joel Maske" and now have finished a 7 song EP for a project called Shockstars (http://www.myspace.com/shockstars). He mentions that he'll "still playing shows with [his] other project Lucky Boys Confusion as well." Shockstars' first show will be April 14th at the Double Door in Chicago.

does anyone else think that the ShockStars sound like an unevolved LBC with overly-repetitive computer dance beats... I'd rather hear these songs with a real drummer, bigger guitars and a bassline. good melodies and lyrics though.

These guys really need to hang it up. Lucky Boys Confuion are the worst, they've always been a joke. They rose to the top of a disgustingly shitty sub-scene that nobody ever liked or respected.
Nobody in Chicago that is over 13 years old with a quarter of brain and half as much taste has ever or will ever give a fuck about anything any of these guys is involved in.
