If that's the sound you want, Orange is deace for sure. While some are better for some things than others, there are some heads that you really can't go completely wrong with as far as versatility goes. What kind of sound do you want?

well lately the stuff i have been writing is very Straylight/Brand New

but i also sometimes write some more poppy stuff (like old TBS, Brand New, Saves The Day, Plus44, Midtown)

i just want a good amp, and i want it to be all tube

You can't go wrong with Orange.

I played an AD30HTC and it sounded great.

You might want to check out a Vox as well. They have some of the nicest distortion sounds i've ever heard.

Orange amps are good, but now that they're becoming popular, you're paying a little less for the quality and a little more for the name. Also, even though an Orange is a great amp, it's not necessarily a great amp for you. You need to start going to guitar shops and trying out amps, looking for soundclips online, etc. to find what tone suits you best.

Based on the bands that you listed, I couldn't really recommend one specific amp, or even one specific style of amp. I mean, if you look at just Brand New's stage setup, they use 2-3 very different amps EACH to achieve their tone. And God knows how many amps they had at their disposal in the studio.

Here (http://guitargeek.com/chat/showthread.php?threadid=41379) is a good place to start looking at amplifier sound clips.
