For the past 4 years, for my birthday cake I've had song lyrics on it, instead of the traditional "Happy Birthday". It's become sort of a tradition and it seems to get tougher every year to find a good song. (16 and 18 were clearly the easiest ones to come up with)
When I was 16 it was Boys Like Girls "Dance Hall Drug"- "Grown up she just turned 16, stuck in the moment, dead at the scene and it's on tonight".
When I was 17 it was All Time Low "This Is How We Do" - "We're the party, you're the people, let's make this night a classic"
When I was 18 it was "Soco Amaretto Lime", of course. - "We're gonna stay 18 forever..."
When I was 19 it was "19 Stars" by Meg and Dia - "I've got 19 stars that I'll give your name tonight"
And now, I'm turning 20 in a couple weeks, and I need a good song for my cake this year. Suggestions?

haha this made me think of Two Weeks From Twenty by Yellowcard. That song is depressing as hell though, I'll let you know if I think of anything else. When you turn 21 that will be an easy one (21 and Invincible)

Yeah lol when I turned 21 I decided to do something like this I made a playlist of songs from ages 15-21 and then in between the years put a song in that I really loved when I was that age. I checked it out the one I had for 20 was Twenty Years - Augustana

life's a bitch by nas ft. AZ
Neil Young - Sugar Mountain
Oh, to live on Sugar Mountain
With the barkers and the colored balloons
You can't be twenty on Sugar Mountain
Though you're thinking that you're leaving there too soon
You're leaving there too soon
It's so noisy at the fair
But all your friends are there
And the candy floss you had
And your mother and your dad
Oh, to live on Sugar Mountain
With the barkers and the colored balloons
You can't be twenty on Sugar Mountain
Though you're thinking that you're leaving there too soon
You're leaving there too soon
There's a girl just down the aisle
Oh, to turn and see her smile
You can hear the words she wrote
As you read the hidden note
Oh, to live on Sugar Mountain
With the barkers and the colored balloons
You can't be twenty on Sugar Mountain
Though you're thinking that you're leaving there too soon
You're leaving there too soon
Now you're underneath the stairs
And you're givin' back some glares
To the people who you met
And it's your first cigarette
Oh, to live on Sugar Mountain
With the barkers and the colored balloons
You can't be twenty on Sugar Mountain
Though you're thinking that you're leaving there too soon
You're leaving there too soon
Now you say you're leavin' home
'Cause you want to be alone
Ain't it funny how you feel
When you're findin' out it's real
Oh, to live on Sugar Mountain
With the barkers and the colored balloons
You can't be twenty on Sugar Mountain
Though you're thinking that you're leaving there too soon
You're leaving there too soon
My dad's birthday card to be this year had the lyrics on it.
