Sunday Driver Leaves Doghouse

Sunday Driver (http://www.myspace.com/sundaydriver) have decided to part ways with Doghouse Records.
The last 2+ years have seen the band in a standstill with the label, with their 2nd LP sitting on the table. The band is currently in talks with new labels about releasing the record.

i saw them a little while back, and the were terrible. the singer was trying to crack jokes that weren't even funny in junior high.

Unfortunate because they were nice when I met them, but you can't expect a label to support a band no one likes and I'm sure they didn't like the new stuff either. They should've helped shop them or something though. That's the least you can do for a band that's put in a lot of time and effort at your label.

...Such harsh words evoked from a usually supportive posting public. Nonetheless, Sunday Driver was on Doghouse for 6 years through good times and bad. The band's EP and LP did OK sales wise, garnered good reviews (Jason here at AP likes the band and gave them a positive LP review) and the band busted their ass on the touring front from 2003 until now, doing over 35 tours, 1-16 weeks long since the release of the album.

Sunday Driver, Doghouse Records and most bands on Doghouse (with the exception of one or two) aren't usually targets of hate, so before posting something non-clever/intelligent or thought out...please think twice before you do so.

Oh, and few people that posted that snoozed listening to the record, thanks for buying the album and supporting the band. Please get some sleep and increase your attention span and virility...there are products on the market to help that sort of thing.
