How about something to bolster the image gallery? Something like, "Create the best wallpaper or buddy icon for this upcoming album" and the winner will get the album for free? That way, it's just one CD and a ton of submissions would be made. It could be a weekly contest that staff votes on and the possibility to go in the past and just do the best wallpaper for any album could work and give some sort of prize for the work.

The gallery pretty much takes care of itself besides the cleaning I now give it. I'm not finished with the overhaul of it yet (specifically AIM icons) plus the albums we receive are all promotional/watermarks, which means giving those away is out of the question (plus we only get 1 copy sent to us, 2 if we're lucky) and we let labels/bands come to us when they want to hold contests, we never ask for them to send us things to give out.

I know the gallery takes care of itself, but there's always room for more of everything. It can't hurt. Maybe, instead of albums, stickers or other AP promotional items?
