On March 1st, The Junior Varsity (http://www.myspace.com/thejuniorvarsity) will head into the studio with Mike Watts (Hopesfall, As Tall As Lions, Down to Earth Approach) to record their next release for Victory Records.

i hope they go back to their roots, and strip things down... do some more interesting things with the vocals, try and turn this into a major stepping stone for their career and can get themselves into bigger tours and more opportunities

i actually love the vocals. he has a very different vocal style than most the bands in this genre who all sound the same, so i give them credit for that. this band is great and i cant wait to hear the new stuff.

I've heard a couple new songs live, and thought they sounded really promising. I also really liked the acoustic tracks on the re-release more than the originals, not that they were bad, and think they should do somethhing more in that vein.
