I think people feel threatened by the fact that something they are doing is becoming mainstream, especially when they are trying to get away from it. Punk is not about thrift store clothes, spiked braclets and (insert band of choice). it is an attitude that the people share. I am considered to be punk, but i dont like labels. I believe you can be goth by wearing a pink shirt, as you can be punk by wearing american eagle and ambercombie & fitch. It's an attitude not a way of dress. this thread goes out to Michelle V. there is something inherently wrong with the way you think. Members please reply to set Michelle V. straight.
