Every tear of blood I spill, I’ll save up In empty water bottles. Pack them in storage and keep them locked up until you break my heart again. Then I’ll fill up my body with the blood I’ve already let spill. Slice my wrists, let them heal, then it’s only a matter of time before I slice them again I feel as though I’ve lost feeling. Like I’ve bled you out of my system Just when I think I’ve got rid of you, you jump back into my life and add another scar to my wrist. Can’t you just stay away? Let my wounds heal. If these scars could talk, they’d beg for time to mend into my skin, but everytime I see you the dullest edge could reopen the cut. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have to make up a story for every new mark that shows up on my body.
