is it me, or has saosin not changed at all? this album was supposed to be huuuggeee. it's nothing different.

all their songs have a sweet chord progression, with a intricate lead line, and alex the drummer does sick fills, long ones that go a little longer, a few counts.

i expected more from them, i wish anthony was still with them.

Personally, I prefer Cove's voice to Anthony's. I agree that they've changed in their new album but just because you (when I say "you," it's universal) might dislike the change doesnt mean the rest of the world does. I agree the lyrics have suffered a bit but there's more to a song than the lyrics. I prefer the instrumental musicality of this new outing to some of their older stuff. Not to mention, the drumming is spectacular on the new CD.

yeah, that's the thing, i love that other band. TTN is like on my top 10 ever easily. and its not a purist thing; because like you said, it's a completely different band. i don't wish for anthony to get back to saosin or something like that, i just wish that this new saosin, with cove, gets to grow to be a better band, eventually becoming as good as the other one. i sincerely hope that happens.

btw "let go control" is one of the best songs of new saosin, capitol shouldn't have chosen this one to replace for "bury your head".
