no way, survivorman is 10Xs better than man vs wild, just for the sheer fact that les is all by himself filming and surviving at the same time. The guy on man vs wild just does things that don't seem necessary and seem exaggerated to the point where it's not even entertaining.

I don't like some of the advertising you see in there though, such as when he was dropped into the desert he was wearing a winter coat by whatever company sponsers the show and has a commercial on five times during the show. Then he took it off after a minute or so because he was hot.

He now I'm not saying it isn't, but it was clearly an advertisment. Understandable, it just takes away from the show a bit.

I usaually end up watching just because his damn voice is so interesting.

i just want to know how tough the camera crew must be with the british special ops guy. i mean, scaling a volcano 3 feet above 2000 degree + lava... the guys behind the lens have to pretty tough too. in fact, THEY should have an episode devoted just to them.
