i dont remember who it was, but THANK YOU to whoever kept mentioning this band on this board. i just gave a listen, and they rule so hard.

Yeah, they are amazing. I have been listening to them since new episode of The Adventures of Pete and Pete were coming out.

Well, I do have to admit that I didn't really listen to them until I went with the lead singer of my old band down to Philly and stayed a few nights with Aaron and Chistopher of mewithoutYou. Aaron told us how "In An Aeroplane Over The Sea" was his favorte record.... then he told us how the lead singer went crazy and joined the circus... so when I got back I went right out and got it on vinyl. Good times!

the opening track starts out promising but after that, it kind of disappoints. maybe it's too poppy for my tastes though. i'm only one song in though haha.

Okay this album isn't bad. I really like some songs, and some don't do it for me at all, pretty hit or miss.

same here. i was reading their wiki page while the album was downloading and thought i would really enjoy it. it's not bad, just doesn't catch my attention.

We started it last fall. It’s really, really different. My manager reprimanded me — it’s so different that he doesn’t want me to talk about it. It’s like there’s a party on a UFO, and everybody’s invited to come in. It’s sci-fi R&B. It’s not 100 percent different from various songs we’ve done, but it’s different from our albums, and it’s really, really different from the last one (http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20011319,00.html).

I had no idea someone on American Idol covered 'Energy" lol.
