Say Hello To Sunshine has a couple of great tracks, but overall it was disappointing.
a) We all know about Finch here
b) What It Is To Burn is a classic
c) Say Hello To Sunshine blows hard

your right, it had its few good tracks. but the finch classics will always be in my heart..it was all about their days at DTR. i still listen 2 their old music all the time.

dissapointing in what way???
it was drastically different from WIITB, but i don't see how that is dissapointing unless u wanted Finch to stay somewhat generic

are you trying to compare Worship and Tribute to SHTS??
dear god, that's like comparing cowshit to delmonico steak
Fireflies is the only song on SHTS that's tolerable.

hmmm, rant like a 12 year old, right, MOMMMY I WaNt MY MaC AND ChEESE!!!!!!!!
speaking of 12, that seems to the number of posts you have cockface. SHTS is one letter missing of being correct (insert an i where needed, hint: between the H and the T). THe progression between WIITB and SHTS was a giant leap backward. Finch had the makings of being an epic band and Nate kinda ruined it. It saddens me listening to SHTS because of what this band could of been, an album WIITB being the epitome of its genre. With all that being said, where is my fucking mac and cheese?

I enjoy both albums alot. I prob like Say Hello To Sunshine more though. It was a good leap. I just don't think it should have taken as long as it did.

Have you listened to the entire album?
if you haven't even listened to the entire album you really have no valid point. even if you've heard one or two songs, that doesn't do justice the the whole picture
and my number posts is relevant to this thread how??

SHTS was not a bad album. I can understand how it would be difficult for some of you to understand. Maybe if Pete Wentz started managing Finch you guys would like their new, more creative, stuff. Once they went from being another used/thrice/story of the year, to being on a creativity level much greater than those (except for Thrice, who is becoming much more creative now) none of you could comprehend what they were doing. If you'd like to argue that point with me, feel free, but you are saying nothing but 'SHTS' was a bad album, when you probably didn't even listen to it more than once. Please, if you're going to say anything about the album being bad, back it up with some substance.

I bought Say Hello To Sunshine because of the hype around Finch and ended up forcefully smashing it. Then I heard What It Is To Burn and it was like, holy shit, they are good!
That said, Ink is one of my favourite songs.

Are you joking? You are all mad Finch didn't make a continuation of WIITB, but oh well, 9,000 other bands tried to, so go listen to your choice of many. The SHTS joke was the lamest attempt at being clever I've ever had to witness.

nice!
i knew aolsux was a jackoff.
SHTS will remain as one of the most creative and original albums to come out of this new scene that was spawned by finch and fata.
if any of you don't have the album, check it out, at the very least, you will be entertained if not floored the first time you listen to it
I've listened to both. I enjoyed WIITB in it's time, and SHTS had some good songs. It seemed like they tried to make too big of a progression with not enough experience to pull it off. Either way, I wish they were still around....improving and putting out new records.

when you come post statements and don't explain yourself, you've already given all of us an impression:
1) you didn't think before you started typing
2) you haven't listened to the entire cd
i have no problem with people not appreciating the music FINCH has put out, but they need to explain why and you didn't
so lets quit the bashing and mindless jr hi bullshit and focus on the reason why i started this thread:

wow, so you're like a one trick pony - fuck everyone else, just listen to finch, i can make an ordered list too
1) I do think before I type, that's why people can get pissed off by my opinions, why Dems and Repubs can get pissed off at each other in congress, I love WIITB
2) I have listened to SHTS a multitude of times, giving it every chance in the world, and still I think it is very boring and generic
3) I have explained myself enough, forget it, your recommendation of finch is out there, I made a comment that everyone has heard finch, because they have, there is a new thread like every other week in one of the few forums - search function is your friend
4) I find it funny how you guys get all defensive - "oh it's a battle, fuck aosux and his unexplaned hatred towards finch's SHTS - fucking *** aolsux thinks he knows music, he doesn't even know about the members in the sound of animals fighting, but I do"

Good list. that's awesome man. My arguement is put to rest.
Finch was the first band from "the scene" I ever listened to.
Don't ask how this happened but somehow I managed to download Letters To You when looking for Where Do We Go From Here by Filter on Kazaa. The rest is history I guess.

Boring is subjective and it's you're right to say so, but generic? Nah, not really. I was going to try and rip on your favorite bands, but you actually listen to some pretty good stuff. Damn. Oh well, hit the lights is about as boring and generic as it gets.

Egh, there are alot better pop-rock bands out there. HTL to me is a slight step up from Simple Plan. I get what you're saying though, I find myself listening to annoyingly poppy music sometimes.
