Emery started with As Your Voice Fades? Really? That's a really, really wierd choice.

I must say that I hate this trend of them playing Walls in the middle of sets, though. My favorite has ALWAYS been how Emery saves Walls for last. Everybody would kind of know it was coming... and the crowd would pool all of it's energy into it, and it was basically one of my favorite live experiences... Everytime I saw it. I guess that they didn't last tour because they were the third band, and here they aren't headlining either... but still =/

I really would kill to hear Fractions live... I don't think I've heard it any of the first four times I've seen them... No Left With Lying Eyes and Alibi's is kind of dissapointing, too. Eh. I don't know. Emery just needs to headline so they can start playing longer sets, basically.

I really, really want them to throw a bone to fans and play something like To Whom It May Concern or maybe bust out the acoustics and play Anne Marie or something sometime. That would fucking rock my face off.

I'm stoked to here these new songs, though!

the ideal emery set closes with walls. the first four times i saw them thats how it was. and then on nintendo fusion they opened with it, and thats okay too....but middle of the set and accoustic? idk...

no, it wasnt acoustic walls, it was some remake, id never heard it before but they said it was from the reissue. As your voice fades worked good as an opener becasue just toby came out and sang the opening, then the rest of the band came out and josh started screaming. I was a little dissapointed they didnt play freddy mercury, but they had played it both of the other times ive seen them so it i enjoyed hearing some different songs.

As far as the static lullabye set, I cant name everysong they played but I can confirm they played:

The last tour that they at least closed with Walls SOME of the time was Warped Tour. Last tour they closed with it ALL the time was T&N. Nintendo Fusion they opened with it.
This tour apparantly it's the second or third song. I really hope they headline a tour soon so they can close with Walls again. It's just THE ultimate closer. Not to mention, it's kind of a letdown to everyone who's sort of come to expect it. Oh well. I'm really stoked to hear this new stuff, though.

I agree, Emery should end with Walls, but as long as they play it, I'm happy. I can't wait to hear As Your Voice Fades live, I know they'll rock that sh*t hard!

I'm glad to see As Your Voice Fades in their set again they haven't played that the last two times I saw them. Come to think of it I haven't seen Disguising Mistakes(best song imo) or Fractions in a long time either. Oh well I like all of Emery's stuff and they never seem to disappoint me as long as I can hear Walls.
