i hope its like Tragic Kingdom reuniting
and not Rock Steady reuniting
not gunna lie IMO Tragic Kingdom was a solid album.... when I heard "Holla Back Girl" or whatever the hell that song is I wanted to cry because of how she ruined her career musically...I doubt they'll be making anything TK'ish though

eeewwww Her singing vocals blooooooowww. It's that damn vibrato. Gwen Stefani = Daryl Palumbo after sucking down a helium balloon.

You guys are all forgetting Return of Saturn, which, in my opinion (fuck acronyms by the way btwlollerzohnoz!) was fantastic.

as long as this truly is no doubt, and not Gwen Stefani and her backing band, I'll be happy.
ExtraTV (http://extratv.warnerbros.com/) is reporting that No Doubt (http://punknews.org/bands/nodoubt) will soon be recording a new album. According to reports, frontwoman Gwen Stefani told interviewer Tanika Ray that she is preparing for a new record with her old bandmates: I’m so excited about the tour and it’s going to be starting in April. I’m just starting to get into rehearsals now. I have two whole albums to choose from. It will definitely be the only time to see these songs live. If you want to come see them, come see them, because I’m sniffing around with No Doubt. We’re going to record another record next. The popular ska/pop act has been on hiatus since 2002 after the release of 2001's Rock Steady.

They never broke up.
since it was called a reunion, i assumed they had. i don't follow no doubt or their status so i didn't know it was a "hiatus."
either way, i stand by the general statement i made.

She already confirmed that the next record she does will be a no doubt cd and NOT a solo cd. She said this on TRL the day her new cd was out.

yesss. i can't wait to see what they come up with next.
gwen stefani music is party music...stop looking for a deeper meaning in it and you'll probably actually find yourself liking it.
no doubt is basically the same...thats why they made rock steady. they were sick of playing depressing, sad angry music. they just want to have a good time.

2007 is The Year Of The Comeback (whether it be actual reforming in 2007, news of reforming in 2007, speculation...etc) And I called this shit back when Glassjaw's tour actually started happening. Damn straight, I'm actually kinda excited about a few of these (potential) reunions: The Police, Rage Against The Machine (just cause I liked them more than Audioslave), Radiohead (though they weren't really broken up), Glassjaw (though they started back up in 2006, it's sort of more official now), and Led Zeppelin (possibly) that is so neat.

"Inside joke"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems to be directly in reference to Victory's bitch statement about the upstream rumor.
Then again, you crazy staff members do have lives of your own.

As long as we don't have to hear "Wind It Up", I'm good. Like others said, this would be great if they got back to Tragic Kingdom form.

100% agreed. I feel like Gwen will be too glam for this, going back to what she used to be with the boys, instead of some huge pop star.

Thom Yorke was talking about never doing anything with Radiohead ever again before The Eraser's album came out. A couple of weeks ago they said they were going back in the studio. After a month off. But yeah he was saying that it was quite possible that Radiohead would cease to exist.
