I noticed here (http://www.purevolume.com/adayaway) that the song "Go Back"'s chorus (40 seconds in), the guitars sound exactly like NFG's "My Friends Over You"'s intro. Anyone know any other songs that sound quite alike to each other?

ones i know of:
weezer's single "perfect situation" --the opening riff is a direct rip off of midtown's "one last time". i say it's weezer ripping off midtown because Living Well came out a good 3 years before Weezer's most recent output.
this one i wouldn't say is a rip-off, just an odd similarity. the opening riff to rise against's "behind closed doors" off the new album is almost identical to the ending riff on midtown's "to our savior" on Forget What You Know.
hah those are the only ones i can really think of. and they're both off Midtown lol :-)

Haha dont get your panties in a twist man. But on Myspace there are a grand total of 11 bands with that name. 4 of which have no plays which usually means no music. 3 with less than 500 plays. The rest have less than 2,000. One guy, a british rapper, has 6,000ish plays. I wasnt trying to cause you to get pissed off i just thought you meant Smalls Leaks Sink Ships because there is always a banner for them on AP and they are talked about. My bad.

In addition, Coldplay's song Speed of Sound completely rips off Coldplay's song Clocks.
The ending of Brand New's Good to Know if I Ever Need Attention all I Have to do is Die is the same as the ending of Metronome Arthritis by At the Drive-In.
Also, Green Day's Brain Stew is a big rip on the intro of 25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago.
The bridge that leads up to the chorus in Ben Fold's Losing Lisa (when he's singing ("I just wanted you to know") is exactly the same as the pre-chorus that builds up to the chorus of Happy Together by The Turtles (right before "I can't see my loving nobody but you...")

And in Jesus of Suburbia part of it (I looked at the lyrics and I think it's the lines, "To live and not to breathe is to die in tragedy" but I'm not positive) completely rips of Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash where he sings "love is a burnin' thing...."
