i love the shit you write. it's awesome. but to me one song, smirking ( im not totally sure on which one, correct me if im wrong), sounds like a glassjaw song.

should i rip you becase it sounds like something glassjaw would write? that seems to be your style.

i write in a different style then you, it doesn't mean it's bad. it means you don't like that style. you don't like screamo/emo lyrics obviously, but because youd ont like them does that make them bad?

seriously man you need to check yourself. cause you are posting good ass lyrics but making yourself come off as an asshole.

and someone who writes as good as you should be trying to help people out. if you dont like screamo/emo lyrics don't comment on them. i don't like pop punk lyrics, but when i comment on them i don't rip them i try and help em out.

And yeah, I guess I am an asshole sometimes. Try not to take it personally. I think you're one of the better writers on this forum and I'm glad that you write prolifically.

My problem is that I'm stuck on trying to write something NEW...I want to write in a new way or about something that no one has written before. I was trying to not write a song about:

growing up and getting wiser
hating someone
hating the government
loving someone
feeling sad
feeling suicidal
sleeping and dreaming
something "thursday"-esque
something about being stabbed in the back

I wanted to write something that sounded NEW and interesting, and I don't really like what I've done so far. I want to write something that isn't depressing or angry or sad or happy or false-sounding, or loaded with meoldrama...

so i can't figure out what to write about. Forgive me if I take out my frustrations on you? Sorry, and I mean it.

glassjaw is really good. they take some getting used to though, i didn't liek them until i saw them with thirce last week now im forever a fan. their lyrics are really good too, check out the motel fo the white locust.
