I would guess BLG are playing stuff from the only album they have and Cobra from the only album they have. Cartel would be the bigger mystery to me since they have more material.

I was going to go to this show but my friend doesn't like Mr. Smalls. I really didn't care enough to go alone.
I want to see this tour mainly because of New Atlantic, but I really don't like the 9:30 Club that much anymore, so I doubt I'll go. Sucks.
i asked for setlists not, "hey guys respond with douchebag remarks."

Haha sorry, but when you said you could guess Cartels setlist i found it funny that you couldnt guess the others since they have two cds combined.

i think its obvious that supporting bands never play full CDs... therefore limiting what they play to 6-8 songs. not full albums. each song is 50/50 chance of being played or so. where as the headliner with one LP and an EP will usually play almost all their songs.

from seeing Boys Like Girls in December, it was pretty much everything from s/t. I will never see Cobra Starship
Boys Like Girls
-Write This Down... er i mean Five Minutes to Midnight
-Dance Hall Drug
-Hero/Heroine
-Top of the World
-Heels Over Head
-Thunder

had a decent size crowd singing along and digging them. they were entertaining for sure.
Cobra
-Send My Love To the Dance Floor
-It's Warmer In the Basement
-Keep it Simple
-the Church of Hot Addiction
-the Ballad of Big Poppa and Diamond Girl
-the Kids are All Fucked Up
-You Cant Be Missed if You Never Go Away
-Snakes on a Plane (feat. singer of Boys Like Girls)
i dont know how i feel about Cobra. it's just not Midtown. seeing Gabe without a bass is just weird for me. they played really good though.
Cartel
-Say Anything (Else)
-Luckie St.
-If I Fail
-Matter of Time
-weird intro thingy then Runaway
-Burn This City
-New song
-Settle Down
-Write This Down
-Wonderwall (Oasis cover)

How did they play the cover?
How did they play the cover?
to be honest i was distracted. we were back by the merch tables chilling the whole night. and after Cobra's set Gabe came back and was there from before Cartel even started til somewhere during Minstrel's. anyways.... he was leaving and stopped to talk to my friend and me. we only talked for a few seconds cause he had just spent 45 minutes getting hugs from underage band sluts (im such an asshole. they could be good little girls.....) and it seemed like he wanted to peace. so we said our obligatory(sp??) comment about "dude Midtown was the shit" and said a few others things. by then Wonderwall was over.
but. from what i heard it was okay.
I always wondered... do people write down these setlists during the show or just have a really good memory?

For opening bands its pretty easy if I know the band well enough....sometimes for headliners I can memorize it too just because I've been to enough shows by a and know what they usually play...but for bands that play like 20 songs its near impossible to remember it in order

I'm glad someone posted them all for you, but there was already a thread that had the setlists of all the bands...

They took it down a full step. Usually the song is played with a capo on the second fret but they played it in standard tuning (guitar players will know what I mean). Sounded good. Will is great singer, however, there's just some notes he can't hit. Mainly the chorus of "Matter Of Time" which makes me wonder if it was some studio trickery since he does the lower harmony live.
