so it looks like the "album a month" thing isn't going to happen, but for some reason, i'm pretty excited. i have a feeling he'll come out with at least one album this year. new ICMAM would be good.

I haven't heard anything about the CD a month, so I'm assuming it's not happen either. I mean, they are going to be super busy these next few months with touring.

i didn't like the story album very much at all. i loved almost every song on the "electric" album. and i was a little disappointed with the "softer" album but it was still pretty good.

His name is Arthur Carl Enders.

The thing I love most about their triple-disc is that if for some odd reason you hated The Path, because you thought the story album was completely unnecessary, than you had two other albums; a softer/acoustic one, and then the "Rock" album. It was a really great idea.

The Mother is the best record they've ever released. Every other album is a mix of really really good songs and mediocre ones, but The Mother is beautiful.

"A Little More Time" makes me so happy to hear, and even though it's long and some find it so annoying, "1000 Times A Day" is another favorite. The story is just so sweet, ha.

Haha, you are such an idiot. If you don't enjoy the music, then that's fine. It's pretty hard not to sound just a little "generic" these days. Although they make pop music, they are one of the better bands out there doing it today. The musicianship/lyrics are a few notches above many other bands in their genre. Don't act like you are some sort of God that listens to the bands that "really, really matter." There are plenty of bands in your favorite list that I dislike, and alot that aren't that talented, and really, really don't matter.

wait wait wait.

nobody was trying to come across as better than thou. at all.

i saw the early november open for brand new the week before deja came out, and they hung out after the show and had drinks with kids and it was a great, great time. they are really, really nice guys and from what i can tell, that hasn't changed.

they've just never HIT me. like, i've never listened to the early november and been like "shit! this is awesome!"

that doesn't mean that every single band i listen to will change the world. that's not what i meant. every band that i listen to means something to me. mxpx isn't going to change the world, but they were the first punk band i ever listened to in 7th grade. the get up kids didn't change everybody's life, but they changed mine.

and if you're into the early november, awesome. that's great. i hope you love 'em and support them.

i'm not one of those people.

i'm aware that every band i listen to doesn't matter, in fact, few of them do. i happened to leave out a very important phrase.

TO ME.

matter to me.

i've just gotten to the point where the time i get to sit down and listen to great music, i want to listen to a band that really, really matters to me as opposed to a band that is just 'good.'

i'm not god.

guitarists (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitarist) Arthur "Ace" Enders and Jim, bassist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bassist) Sergio Anello and drummer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drummer) Jeff Kummer in Hammonton, New Jersey in 2001. Together, they recorded a 5 track demo in Enders' basement and sent it, along with a poorly edited videotape to only one label: Drive-Thru Records. A couple of months passed while both Jim and Anello had to budge for more skilled replacements, Steve Nakovich (guitar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar)) and Mike Klemash (bass (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bass_guitar)), until the band got in touch with Richard Reines of Drive-Thru, who luckily was visiting their hometown and agreed to meet with the band to give advice. Stunned by what he had heard, Reines returned to California to discuss a possible signing with Drive-Thru co-owner Stefanie Reines. A few weeks and yet another line-up change later (Joe Marro joined for Nakovich), Drive-Thru signed The Early November and put them, despite their practically non-existent on stage experience, on 2002's Skate and Surf Fest and on selected dates of the Warped Tour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warped_Tour).
Klemash and Marro left the band before the recording of their debut EP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_play) For All of This (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_All_of_This). Anello re-joined on bass, while a second guitarist was found in John Dubitsky. The CD came out on Drive-Thru Records in early November 2002. Enders recorded The Acoustic EP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Acoustic_EP_%28The_Early_Novemb er_album%29) on his own, featuring acoustic versions of most songs off their debut EP, which was released a mere two months later. Simultaneously, guitarist Marro had re-joined the band in exchange for Dubitsky.

I think they had the original lineup (the one playing now) then two of the original guys were asked to leave to make way for two skilled musicans. After the record (EP) was finished, the skilled musicians left and Serg came back and another guitarist (joe) came in...clear? (I made it more confusing X-) )
