I really dislike his production style. He's lucky the songs are strong enough to stand on their own -- but man, he bugs me -- big time.

awesome song. vocals sound good. drums sound kinda tinny but that might just be the myspace mp3 crap.

I think the low end balance is just right. The bass is pominent and the works well with the kick drum. The snare sounds a bit tinny to me but it might be MySpaces fault.

I think at time the vocals are a little over processed (particularly in the second verse) but the song on whole sounds a lot more lively.

I prefer this mix.

I'm starting to get a little nervous that the entire Summer EP is going to be on the new album. During one of the studio videos they showed them playing The Only Song. I just hope I won't know half the album before it hits stores.

although we like the old version better, think about radio stations. while it obviously isn't as sweet as the original was, a slowed down, over-produced version will be better for the kids who actually go out and buy records and listen to the radio. not to mention, i think it still sounds pretty good.

I definitely like this song. I think a lot of the time when a band re-records a song, the listener gets used to hearing it the old way and doesn't give the new version a chance.

Everyone is guilty of suffering from demoitis every now and then. Its tough not to.

I like the old version better. I think alot of people do; but not because of any real musical reasons, but because they are just so use to it. But it's a damn good song.

sherwood is soooo good
