I was reading "The ex" in your signature by accident! And thank god that wasn't you, that sucked. Yours was good though. I'd love to hear some music with it.

people dont read that stuff for a reason. and if anyone else made a post liek this you would delete it or move it.

it's pretty good. work on its flow..it has potential. as for a name? hmm...something like 'and the sky came crashing' or something.

since you've opened the door for lyrics posts in the general forum, look at mine...i need some more opinions. just two verses and also nameless, but check it out

that's pretty good, i'd probably go with whoever said "and the sky came crashing" or something along the lines of "last call"

anyway, good job

Agreed. That kinda sounds like a Thrice title to me. Anyone notice that? I guess it's the new album titles that get me.

actually you should call it "generic 'writtin a thousand times over' emo pop song". no offense.

thanks dude

you've just motivated me to write more generic non emo non pop songs. if you had actually taken the 9 iron out of your ass before you read it, you might have realised it may not be a emo pop song. its actually a semi fast punk song along the lines of jersey or rancid. but thanks cuntscab.

you dont understand. nothing in the future of writing can use anythign that slightly resembles anything else int he world.

if you said "the tv turned to static" it would be too close of a reference to a static lullaby.

no its just the names are really close. and skycamefalling owns the pants off of brandons song. the end.

The point is, whether its emo, fast punk, or whatever, its the same whiny teenage heartbreak song that people keep writing. I even find myself jotting down lyrics that sounded like they could be sited from just about any band ever. all i'm saying is, try originality, or take the message you were trying to get across in the song and deliver in a different/unique style. Just trying to give some constructive critisicm.
