Here's a partial list of Grammy winners (http://www.dailybreeze.com/today/articles/5745911.html), it appears that it's being updated as they come in.

Grammys are sooooo irrelevant, haha. It's like the electrions (popularity contests) in high school.

What a massive dissapointment when it comes to the Record of The Year, Rock Album of The Year and Album of The Year. John Mayer was robbed of Album of the year. And John Mayer or Raconteurs should have won over RHCP.
trindaddy
02/11/07, 08:31 PM
congrats to mayer, i think he deserved more tho
also congrats to the RHCP's
howver, i dont feel that the dixie chicks deserved that many awards, or mary j blige (anybody else get sick of watching her cry 3 times tonight?)

i cant believe mayer only won for male pop vocal when he is so much more than that.
yea underoath never stood a chance against the ok go video.

I can accept Dixie Chicks for song of the year, because that means Dan Wilson of Semisonic "fame" gets an award too. Otherwise... no way should they have had a complete shutout on the top three categories. Oh well.
Carrie Underwood was a fine choice for Best New Artist, I am fine with that.
Oh yeah, Chris Brown TORE the stage up, oh my god.

Also, I am bummed out about Weird Al losing Best Comedy Album, but I can take comfort in the fact that he lost to Lewis Black and not Ron White.

Grammys are pointless and a bunch of bullshit.
And you know that they gave the Dixie Chicks the big three to make some "political statement" or some shit like that.

They were pretty good. I'm sure the video will be all over the Internet tomorrow. They did Roxanne, as said before. I wish it was something else cause I'm not a big fan of that song... but they were good.
The Dixie Chicks winning all those awards is a political statement. Pay attention to what's going on in the world.
Rick Rubin is some kind of genius apparently.
RHCP are rock legends.
And good for John Mayer. He made a great album for us non screaming 13 year olds.
Great performances, from The Police to RHCP. (could have done without Christina Aqui-fea)

Big congrats to Mayer for his two wins and an awesome performance. I did not know the Dixie Chicks still existed. And yes, Mayer was robbed by RHCP and Dixie Chicks for Rock Album and Album of Year. That made me very angry when they announced those 3 skanks won. What a crock-a-shit!

I wish it was something else cause I'm not a big fan of that song... but they were good.I figured they'd play either "Roxanne" or "Every Breath You Take", and obviously "Roxanne" would be the better of the two. Part of me really was hoping that for some reason they'd open with "Message in a Bottle", that would have been great.

Yeah it was Roxanne cause it was their first hit 30 years ago when they started or something of that sort. I know I read somewhere all the details, but of course when I need to know, I can't find it.

I agree with all the previous Dixie Chicks statements. I could have handled them winning in the country category had they not been so smug and rude in their speech. I really did turn my TV off after that.

yes rhcp and justin should have won more, but what do you honestly expect from the grammys..
and i think carrie underwood is awesome.

Tool won a grammy.
Recording Package: "10,000 Days," Adam Jones, art director (Tool).
Yes, I'll agree that the album artwork is cool. I think the 3-D part is pretty neat. However, working at a record store, I can say that the album is a bitch to stock. Too awkward of a shape. They don't stack well either.

That is such a great single, one of my favorite songs of 06; and to get technical, it will definitely be one of my favorite singles of 07.
