ive recently had some hands on experience with illegal immigrants. theyre just regular guys willing to work for shit pay for jobs that you dont want to do. i worked with all illegal immigrants for 4 months doing landscaping during the spring and early summer(yes that was me you saw in the back of that pickup truck, the lone white boy surrounded by mexicans). we couldnt really talk much, but we had a mutual respect. we both worked equally hard, except i got to spend my check on my beer and a new guitar, and they had to spend theirs on feeding and supporting their families. and whatever money they make here is like a kings ransome compared to what they would be making in the homeland(mexico, PR, cent. america, ect) so lay off these hardworking people, theyr not "taking you jobs", cause i was the first and only white person to ask to work my job, and to be honest, it probably beats working fast food. i was usually dead tired after work, but at least i wasnt getting fat eating leftover fries and burgers. ive had to quit recently, but ill never forget what ive learned.

I agree with you completely, Mexicans are the hardest working bunch of people out there. However, being a diligent worker is no excuse for breaking the law. Whats to stop them for filling out the paper work to make it legal. If they really cared about their families, they would fill out the paper work and make it official so there was no fear of deportion. My great grand parents did it. And the majority of Americans have ancestors who did it. I understand why they would want to come to this country, and I dont mind them coming to this country either, as long as they are citizens. That means tax paying citizens, not "I'll get pregnant and run across the border, pop out a kid, and live off of welfare for the rest of my life".
