Parents: Pain The Ass

Is anyone else's parents being a fucking pain in the ass this summer? I start university in September and since my friends never call me, I usually just sit and listen to music all day (when I dont work the odd shift). My dad gets really pissed off and threatens to kick me out of the house and charge me rent. He figures I should be going out and looking for friends or lifting weights or something :rolleyes: . Are all parents this bad? :confused:

ya my parents aren't that bad i guess...but they don't let me talk to girls...which isn't really a problem until i got a girlfriend...and it totally sucks...but hey...once it's september you'll be outta the house...just last the summer. i try and spend time outta the house when my dad's bitching.

man...i dunno why they have aproblem with it...since i got anna my grades have skyrocketed...i got 2 4's and a 5 on three AP exams...it's pretty fucking good...and my average for my junior year is a 97..pretty good also...i dunno...it's apparently against my culture to date her or some shit like that...i'm brown...Indian if you want...and she's Polish...i dunno...i really gotta talk with my mom about this again..sucks having a gf you gotta keep a secret.

i know what you mean. i'm changing schools and i kinda deserted my friends because i hate them and i plan to mke new ones, but my parents are always on my ass about it. they get pissed when i don't go out. i understand, you know, wasting the summer, but i'd rather stay home than be with people i don't like.

yea uh my parents have kept me entirely too busy this summer. I have summer school, cross country, community service, SAT classes, piano, Japanese, and i next year i have to go work in Taiwan. If im not doing somehting productive for 5 min they go crazy

yea i think i go through really bad stages with my parents where me and them are all constantly pissed off at eachother for even monthes at a time but it eventually passes. after all, they ARE your parents, they did make you and pay for you and stuff. but just try and get through it and if youre in a good mood one day start being nice and maybe itll turn around so you can have, like, a good week before you leave? or actually i bet youll all like eachother more when youre apart lol but good luck
