1. What of the auxiliary income derived from speaking engagements, books, articles, etc.?

2. If an individual leaves the bench solely because of monetary gain, then do you want them on the bench in the first place, especially in a court which make important decisions in our society?

you guys are being assholes. everyone knows that the judiciary is supposed to be separated from the general public. what better way to separate them from the masses than paying them a lot of money?
