I got tickets to go see im in Somerville MA. I used to be a huge fan but his new stuff isn't cutting it for me.

I thought his new song "Tourist Trap" was just okay..but the new track "Endless Entertainment" (found at www.thisisbrighteyes.com (http://www.thisisbrighteyes.com)) is pretty amazing.

I get what your saying.
it wasnt really bad, persay, I just think it was lacking in the vocal/lyric department.
the music was great and I digged that but the only thing I look forward to in a bright eyes album is the lyrics and the truth in his voice.

My favorite is I'm Wide Awake its Morning. His earlier stuff is great, but I prefer the new stuff more.

Can't wait for this. I hope it's a healthy mix of styles. Because i liked Digital Ash over Wide Awake, personally. Both were good though, obviously. But yeah, i'd love to see a mix of both styles on this album.

Awww. Oh well. It'll still be a quality album. Hopefully there will be some good remixes for singles/EP's by indie/electronica artists. There have been some great ones remix his stuff, and collaborate with him in the past. If Her Space Holiday or The Album Leaf do more stuff with him, i'd be stoked!

Well, I'm happy with it being country/folkish. I loved I'm Wide Awake.

Yeah, i'm still excited for it. It is a bit of a tease for him to branch out to a different style for a whole album, and them not further explore that style of music though. But maybe on a future EP or something.
