GIRLS HAVE NAILS.

and girls can get pretty crazy. I saw these 2 girls running around in a circle pit and would run to the sides and smack/hit random people standing to the side of the pit.

Well thats good for you then...I always keep a watch out for girls that are short...just because I have seen many many girls (and a few small boys for that matter, mostly girls tho) be on the verge of passing out which is highly dangerous in the pit...consider it lucky if someones watching out for you :)

im pretty small, but i love love being in the pit. it just sucks being so small and wanting to have fun but also worrying about not falling down and crap

i agree with the nails thing. if you're gonna go in the pit, get rid of them fuckers, you're gonna take an eye out. or sever someone's head right off. other than that, i have no problem with girls in the pit. i tend to watch out for them, unless they have the forbidden nails.:)

Also gotta be careful cause someone hits you in the head and you get knocked out for a sec (seen it happen), everyone flips out that the person knocked out a girl. Also, girls are rather agressive and hurt. I don't mind girls in the pit tho;)

I do the same thing cause I feel bad cause I've been there before the small kid that can't help himself. As for girls in the pit I think it's better than them sitting on the side complaining about being hit.

Yeah good call or if you hit someone real bad they don't see if your alright. The other day at the Further show I got pushed into this guy and my head hit his head so I stopped to make sure I hadn't broken his nose or anything. It wasn't even that hard about 2 secs of my life to be nice and some people cant seem to do it and MichelleV anytime anytime.

I rememeber at this local show, this really drunk huge kid was dancing and his fist slammed into my nose.. Like everybody stopped dancing, and just came over to me... I felt kinda dumb at the time, but looking back it was pretty funny. He was really cool about it.

haha me and my friend did that at warped tour, but we only did it because it was simple plan and we figured we wouldn't get hurt. and we were right, i fell a couple of times though and one time i took the hugest run and this kid smacked into me and it really slowled me down, by the time i got to the other side i almost got pushed over by the kid i was jumping into cause i was going so slowly. but on the other hand we were too chicken to go any where near the pit when rancid played yeah we're pretty hardcore. also when kids hardcore dance i stay as far away as possible cause really who wants to get punched in the face by some kid who thinks he's a ninja

i never go in the pit, i dont like them. but i usually do stand on the edge, and i really fucking hate it when peoples sweat flys on to me, its really disgusting. also when guys grab your ass...not cool

ya mosh pits totally suck. I never go in em...once a pit started around me and i had my glasses on...got knocked off and i almost lost em...i got lucky that time...and usually it's not sweat...it's spit and phlegm.

i think the pits are alot of fun because if you get hurt people help you but i just hat eit when the guys stop dancing when i go in and then me and some other girl are doing it alone cuz the guys "dont want to hurt us", oscarmurder ure right i know what im getting myslef inot and i really appritiate everyoe watching out for me but i dont want the pit to change any when i go in

i agree with oscarmurder, i hate when people say you have to "look out for the girls" because i always look out for everyone, i pick up more guys in mosh pits than guys help me out. and on a side note.. i think a lot of the girls (specifically the little teeny bopper girls, that scream in your ear louder than the band is playing) should have their asses kicked in the mosh pit. they are the only stupid girls that you shouldnt look out for

anyways, I've noticed guys looking out for girls, myself included, when we're in a pit or whatever... but they don't really treat us THAT different. atleast here in richmond, if you're a girl and in a pit, get ready to get beaten just as much as anyone else.

dude girls in the pit is cool. but i try to avoid running into them cuz chances are ill do some damage. but its hard when the whole crowd turns into a pit and everyones screwed. so u hit them all u can do is help em back up. but dont get me wrong ive seen some girls who would man handle me SCARY!

Relating to the topic: I don't watch out only for the girls, I watch out for everyone. But you kinda get more guilt if you knock a girl down. I mean come on. You're a guy, you knock down a sweaty, 6 foot 3, 200 pound guy, you dont really care. You help him up, you keep going. But if you're a guy, and you know down a 5 foot something, 100 pound girl, especially when you're my size, you wanna make extra sure you didn't hurt them, because after all, they are half your size, and from what I've found...when a big kid and a small kid collide, the small kid gets hurt more.
