It looks like Sufjan Stevens (http://www.absolutepunk.net/sufjanstevens) might be making an album about California (http://www.asthmatickitty.com/sidebar.php?sidebarID=160) soon.http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/
Sufjan: Being a native of the Golden State, do you want to collaborate on a record about California?

not be a dick (although kind of to be a dick) you kind of have a habit of taking pitchfork's news and posting it here without citing them. I mean it's basically irrelevant, but you are the ap indie kid...

They're called press releases. They're sent to multiple news sources at the same time and therefore, many sites post them at the same time. Also, notice that this post is cited (the Source link at the end, before Sufjan's question).

Eh, it seems like he's asking "when" he does his Californa album if he would want to be involved.

I heard the next was either Arkansas or Minnesota.

Either way, I'm extreamly excited.

I'm really excited about this though. I was scared it'd be a while before we saw a California album. I thought he'd stick with ones out in the midwest. :woot:

Paul I'm pissed at you. When I read this headline I almost came my pants, but when I read the article it didn't sound convincing at all.

But if it's true, then WOOOOOO FUCKIN HOOOO BITCH YEAH!!!! IM SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THIS CD!!!!

Actually, wait, this is bad news. See, judging by sufjan's track record I was expecting a new cd mid this year, but if he's just asking this guy now about collaborating, this means he's probably not too far along, or hasn't even started.

At least this has to do with music. I thought AP had somehow absorbed Digg's RSS feed with the way half the latter's content ends up here.

I didn't realize I was being clever. I'm simply saying I don't see how Avalanche wasn't an Illinois based album? It was full of songs written for the Illinois album, but didn't make it onto the Illinois album.

Not that any of this even matters. It's fucking stupid to "argue" over this.

In late 2007, Sufjan will declare that he will be undertaking a North Dakota album. Shortly after deciding upon this, he will realize his mistake, and that North Dakota does not have enough in it to make an entire album. In Early 2008, Sufjan will release the North Dakota 5-song EP entitled "Come All Ye To Fargo"....then he'll do something else cool.

sufjan was interviewing a guy in cali and asked if he would be interested in collaborating. It seemed just like an interviewer type question.

And to the douche who flamed that it was already posted on another website... lick your dad's chode.
