my job. Last time I talked to my boss was yesterday morning at like...6:45 in the morning. He said he'd be here to pick me up at 7 this morning to work. It's 10:00 now. Fuck this shit. If he shows up, I'm not going. What do you think? Am I doing the right thing?:mad:

i've worked 12 days this summer. 10 times he's been here at 9 or later. 4 of those 10 have been at 11:00 or later. But 1/2 of those times he's called and said he'll be late. So this isn't the first time I've played this stupid fuckin waiting game.

I worked landscaping last summer, it was the most bull shit job ever. One day I worked 8am-9pm. After that I just quit because it was a huge waste of summer.

Topic A: It's a 3 day a week job. The guy's tight on money becuase he has to pay shitloads of money to his newly divorced wife.

Topic B: He said specifically, before I started, that he would CALL ME THE NIGHT BEFORE AND TELL ME WHAT TIME HE WOULD BE THERE IF HE WANTED TO WORK. He also stated that if he would be late, HE WOULD CALL ME. The reason he'd call me all the time, is because he's never home, and always using people's cell phones and office phones and pay phones and shit to call. So whose responsibility is it to call again?

Topic C: I do want to work. I need money. Hence the reason I'm pissed off about him not showing up. Because every hour he isn't here, is more money I lose. Comprende?

so you know this guy has a habit of being late so you end up working short days only three times a week. youre getting pretty fucked if you ask me. if you really wanted the money or whatever maybe you would realize that this job sucks. if your boss isnt dependable and you dont get the hours youre supposed to why do you bother? if you noticed this pattern of him being unreliable for a while shoudlnt you have looked for another job if youre so damn responsible? you have no right to complain if you contnue to put up with that.
