Their latest is Sound The Alarm, which is a good record but not their best.
Some of my favorite songs:
1) This Is Not An Exit
2) Rocks Tonic Juice Magic
3) Sell My Clothes, I'm Off To Heaven (b-side)
4) Nightingale

I love the way TSL sounds now. Don't get me wrong, I loved the way they were before, but their sound is much more mature I think.

More poppy? I think Take This to Your Grave pretty much epitomizes modern pop-punk.

SILYMI pretty much covered every sub-genre under pop-punk. they had a song that any pop-punk band would need; the break-up, missing home, acoustic, upbeat song, song about where your from, and i could go on...

Take This To Your Grave. Every song on that album is fun, witty, and just plain enjoyable. As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the best pop punk albums around, second only to Your Favorite Weapon by Brand New.

the only thing that kills it for me on TTYG is the fact that it has a song thats too long for FOB (most of their songs are under 3:30)

how can one song kill a whole record? especially when the reason is it's a minute longer than most of their songs?

I like both albums, but i prefer TTTYG a lot more than SILYMI. the starting line has some catchy songs on that album, but not as much as fob does on theirs.
If i sit down & listen to both albums, i get bored of SILYMI faster than TTTYG

on SILYMI kenny sounds like a little boy whining about break ups over & over again.
on TTTYG, patrick does whine, but not as much. Plus they don't sing just about break ups, they sing about loneliness, break ups... Okay, i think thats pretty much it..

no its just FOB said in an interview the best songs are ones that start with vocals within 30 seconds and are less than 3:30. All the songs i don't like by them are over this time, so yeah.

Ha, I'm way different, I think TTTYG has 5 good songs, tops.
It also has songs like Grenade Jumper, The Pros and Cons of Breathing, and Reinventing the Wheel which I truly loathe and the rest of the songs I'm just like... meh.

no its just FOB said in an interview the best songs are ones that start with vocals within 30 seconds and are less than 3:30. All the songs i don't like by them are over this time, so yeah.and yet some of the best songs ever written are over 3:30 whose vocals don't start til well after the 30 second mark.
The fact that someone in FOB said that is pretty sad and narrow-minded.

as much as i hated the production on that album, nothing FOB will ever do will a candle to anything TSL has done since Say It Like You Mean It, imo. then again, i despise FOB and their music so, i guess i'm kinda biased in that regard haha

But I went with TTTYG because that was FOB's peak album
The Starting Line I think progressed a lot with BOATS
