i couldn't tell you whether i liked brand new or not....i don't know them personally. as i'm sure none of the rest of you do either. as for deja entendu - it's a fucking work of art. anyone willing to disagree is free to get down on their knees, pull down my pants, and suck away. although i like you zach....i really wish you would have kept your dislike for brand new to yourself. it makes me resent you a bit. all i have to say.

I don't need to justify my reasons for not liking them. I'm very sorry if saying "I don't like the way they sound" dosn't meet your criteria for a good reason not to like them. Perhaps the next time I decde to give my opinons on a band I'll check with you first and make sure you aprove of it.

i dont really like brand new. ive tried listening to deja entendu, which i downloaded. yah thats right. screw record companies. and well i am not into it. I really dont like the singers voice. The music is soo blah. i dont like it. i havent listened to your favourite weapon so i dont want to have an opinion on that.

I've only heard one Brand New song, and I didn't really like it. I'm not really into the style of music Brand New plays. My bro might buy the CD, and I'll give them a shot, but I don't think I'll like it, unless their other songs are radically different from the one I've heard before.

you have to be in the right mood to really enjoy Deja Entendu, and it needs to grow on you also.

But I know Zach is entitled to his opinion, as is Blaarg.

I will take this opportunity to boast that I believe I like at least 2 or 3 of the same bands that every regular poster here personally likes.

Broad taste in music. And Devin gets best music taste because he listens to indie rock...just because you know indie bands doesn't make you a music coinisseur....

If the pro-Brand New threads can be little more than the board lining up to suck their cock, there is no reason why Zach can't have an unfounded dislike for them. Do you remember just one month ago, when things like "OMG DeJa ENtenDu is fuckin awesum" permeated the board? Even someone as wonderful (and bootylicious) as Julie was reduced to calling it "creamtastic" without citing any reasons. If you ever use the, "I like it just because" defense, don't knock Zach for disliking them "just because."
