Blood and thunder is one of my favorite opening tracks ever. "I think that someone is trying to kill me. Infecting my blood and destroying my mind!!" Such great opening lyrics, and the guitar part in the middle is also amazing.

Mastodon is one of the best metal bands today, excellent drummer, solid vox. Blood Mountain is among my favorites right now...Now I need "Remission"

Great band. I just got Leviathan, and I'm liking it more then I thought I would. Blood Mountain is still my favorite though.

Leviathan is such a great record. Crack The Skye is no slouch either, it's easily one of the better metal record I've heard this year.

I have noticed that when I read things about them, it always involves about how AMAZING OMG!!11! Brent and Bill are at playing guitar and how Brann reinvented the drums. Like they are a very solid group of musicians and they have yet to release a terrible record but they are far from the best band in the world.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I'm a pretty big fan of Brann's drumming, though. I think they deserve the popularity they have now but to call them the best metal band in the world right now is a bit of a stretch.

Agreed, I'm happy that they're getting the exposure they deserve. I imagine their popularity will increase after they get done doing that Dethklok tour and are exposed to all the 13 year old kids there to see Dethklok.

That tour is going to be awesome with Converge and High On Fire opening. It'll be interesting seeing Converge play at the Patriot Center, though. The show is coming here on Halloween, haha. I'm planning on taking a long piss break during Dethklok.

Converge is going to be insane, all those kids' minds are going to be blown by them. As far as I know, Dethklok is the headliner, so it looks like you could the great line-up before them and then leave and go do something else.

Dethklok headlining over both Converge and Mastodon? That should piss me off but I guess it would be nice to not have to see them play and leave after Mastodon.
