thursday is opening for them at the allentown fair grounds in pa and glassjaw is opeining at the asbury park convention hall

yeah but regardless of how you feel about NFG and their music you have to admit that they're gonna bring considerably more fans out to those shows than either thursday or glassjaw are, and therefore that makes them the headliner, i mean personally i think that NFG is a better band than both of them but that's probably just me but i've seen a lot of shows where the opening band is the best band on the bill, thursday will just have to work up to getting that big fan base so that they can headline big shows like that

And let's not forget that when NFG asked them to open for them, I doubt they had guns when they asked, so if Thursday and Glassjaw had as big a fucking problem with it as clearly some of you do, then they would have used that special word..."NO."

But they didnt....it didn't bother them...so get on with your lives.

haha good call, and most likely what was going through their heads was...open for NFG, what an honor, and what a great opportunity to get our music out to so many new fans, so all of you fans should have the same attitude towards NFG as your bands do...one of respect!!

does it even matter if 12 year old girls are at the same show as us? at least then, you will be content in your own little mind that you are more of a fan than some pre-pubescent girl screaming "jordans so hot". and then you can push them out of the way and be front row centre in front of whoever band you're seeing. personally, i'm stoked i'm seeing new found glory open for sum 41 in 5 days- i know i'll be knocking me down some 12 year old girls who havent even heard of nfg here in good old australia

i doubt they're r "touring", they're prolly just playing a couple shows wit them cuz thurdsday and thrice r going on tour together.
