SNL is going downhill fast, the last show i saw that was good as a whole, not just a few sketches, was during the 2000 election...Mad TV isn't as great as it used to be, but is still better than SNL

althought Kenny Rogers Jackass was funny....but that is one funny sketch against the hundreds that SNL has had. Plus SNL has had so many classic cast members.

Plus i never found the "Stuart" sketches very funny.

snl hands down. it may have lost a lot of its greatness now, but if you add up all the years it's been great that's longer than mad tv has been around

i prefer snl, but lately...it just hasn't been all that great. well, it hasn't been just lately...probably for the past couple of years at least...but i can admit dick in a box made me chuckle.

From my memory I started watching in 94 and began comprehending/getting SNL in 95-96, started watching Mad TV in 97 and heres who has been better through the years since IMO...

95-00 SNL
01-04 Mad TV
05- Both sucked
06-07 SNL

SNL has got it back even though theres stil a lot of people who havent caught back onto it. Nothing is going to top Will Ferrel, Chris Katan, Tim Meadows, Cherry O'Teri etc... for a while so dont hold it to such a high standard, theyve been rebuilding and I think they finally found something decent.

Mad TV can't compare.

yeah SNL used to be better, but MadTV is absolutely horrible. I can't even fake a laugh when i watch it.
