Rodeo

Gritty Gainesville or Midwest punk would rule. (Hot, Watter Music, Lawrence Arms, etc). But I'm open to pop/punk, straight-forward punk, skate, whatever. I'm pretty set in the classic punk, I think though...

Whatcha think?

I honestly don't know any good ones, the ones I do listen to (lawrence, hot water music) you listen to as well. So I think someone needs to recomend me some too

Rodeo

Not a big rancid fan... I liked them circa '95 though.

I had a punk band called Authors a little while ago that was a mix of hardcore/punk and a little bit of some ska upstrokes. We have an 8 song cd and I would be happy to send it to anyone that wants it.

For some reason I never got into Rancid, but I was always found of The Bastards though.

Lords- They lean more towards hardcore than punk, but if you're looking for gritty, they're ace.
Scout's Honor- Two dudes, epitome of the Gainsville sound.

Rodeo

was that when they played at rocketstar perhaps? i didnt make it to k-zoo ever to see them, so i wouldnt know. and i figured youd be at the macs show...that was during the pistons finals, and since they had it playing, pretty much everyone was watching the game instead of the bands.

also, ill be in florida all next week, over by tampa. you know if there are any decent shows going?

also, im listening to Belvedere. you might like them, theyre sort of like a wilhelm scream if youre into that type of punk.
