The Reds are dumping quite a load there. But at least they still have two of the youngest stars in the major leagues. Austin Kearns (23) and Adam Dunn (24).

All that happened. I'm pretty sure they will use Williamson as a closer since his career numbers are pretty dominating. And he has done really well this year, and racked up a good deal of saves when the Reds used to actually when games a month ago. I think he has about 26, and the Reds only have 46 wins. Opponents are batting .180 against him in his career too. And Boone officially met with CEO Carl Lidner and demanded he be traded, so they are looking to trade him before the trade deadline tomorrow.

And Guillen, who I'm not sure is near as good as he has been this year (.338 AVG, 23 HR, 65 RBI in around 340 AB's), was traded to the A's for three minor league pitchers and cash.

I heard the management sent a list to Jim Bowden before he was fired saying Graves, Williamson, White and Boone had to go before the deadline.

Adam Dunn is very overated. he's barely batting over .200

Dunn is slumping bad and he is still putting up above average numbers. And there are only 15 players in the major leagues who have walked more than he has.
