I find this song to be self explanatory...so here goes...one of my personal favourites:

" Miss You "

Verse 1
You always said that we would sing our song
I never once dreamed you'd be gone
The summer air tears at our sides
The cool nights ruin our lives
Night falls, I tuck myself in
Live large, the past falls in
And we are so discrete
The winter winds rips at our feet
All the days that we once knew
Have taken us back and fallen right through

Chorus
I will miss you
Won't forget you
Hard to have to
Live a life, life without you
I won't forget you
We will miss you
And you always seemed
Seemed to pull through
And now im living life
Life without you

Verse 2
You always said you would never leave
Regret the days when I was mean
I yelled and screamed and told you off
Never dreamed that you'd be lost
I remember back in third grade
When you came cause I had to stay late
I thought you were going to yell
But instead you made it made all better
All the days that we once knew
Have pulled you, you felt right through

Chorus
I will miss you
Won't forget you
Hard to have to
Live a life, life without you
I won't forget you
We will miss you
And you always seemed
Seemed to pull through
And now im living life
Life without you

Bridge
As we look back
At all the times we
Spent together, the nights are so long
And we think of
All the fights we
Started with eachother, you have crossed over

Chorus
I will miss you
Won't forget you
Hard to have to
Live a life, life without you
I won't forget you
We will miss you
And you always seemed
Seemed to pull through
And now im living life
Life without you

End Chorus
I will miss you
Won't forget you
Hard to have to
Live a life, life without you
I won't forget you
We will miss you
And you always seemed
Seemed to pull right through
We will miss you
Won't forget you
You were my life
Now I live, a life without you

it's too long and you repeat things which makes the song drag on. like chris said, it's simple. it's alright though. if you really did lose someone, i'm sorry for your loss. if you didn't, i suggest you write about things you feel firsthand. lyrics always seem to come out better in the end when they're sincerely felt.

its basically a song touching on the exact feelings my friend is going through right now. he lost his mom a few days ago and that song is sort of a ballad to him, telling him we know he must feel etc. so i guess you could say its somewhat personal.

the song was aimed at being a simple tale of losing somebody you love. i didnt feel like incorporating complex writing into this song. but thanks for your comments both of you.

yea sometimes simplistic stuff is fun, and for the most part it's pretty cool, but without the music the chorus seems a little long, but that stuff usually changes once you hear the actual song, so good job

i hear ya, simplistic writing is awesome in some tunes. and yeah, the chorus is a fairly long one, but its very powerful in this particular song. oh and thanks again.
