Not a bad film over all, but I think I honestly expected a bit more out of the thriller aspect. There are some scenes that could have been more intense, but over all not a bad film. It's probably better than a lot of the crap that's in most normal theaters these days anyway.

What are other people's thoughts?

mmmmm, caroline dhavernas.

she's the only reason i'd even be interested in this movie. i've heard from a few friends it was rather underwhelming.

I thought it was excellent. Extremely well acted and very tense.

i thought it was good as well, and i, much like yourself, expected more of a thriller.

Just rented it, great story but it could have been more exciting.

I watched it with my family tonight and was expecting more suspence as well.

Still a good movie.

7/10 from me.

I absolutely loved it. I knew a lot about the Robert Hanssen case, but didn't know about O'Neill's story or the movie. I wasn't expecting much, so it was a pleasant surprise.
It helped a lot that the entire movie was shot in D.C. so my friends and I saw places we see every time we go out on a 60 foot screen.

When it came out, it was the best movie I had seen in 2007 and I don't think there's anything else I've seen that had a better male performance. I'd give it an 8/10, but it's been a pretty shitty year for movies.
