that's a good question if it is a sport tho, it def does take athletic ability to be able to skateboard, as well as its judged in competition

I'm with Trainsaw when I say Mullen. I think Mullen is the greatest skater ever. What Tony Hawk did for skateboarding to the masses is undeniable, but what Mullen did for skateboarding in it's infancy(namely inventing every trick EVAR) is the stuff of legends.

Ha it took a while for people to respond to this, I got worried. I thought punk music and skateboarding went hand in hand. I'd have to say my favorite skater is Geoff Rowley, he's the kind of guy that takes skateboarding from a sport to a lifestyle. I would skate all day and all night, but I live in Michigan, so it only happens half the year.

I've decided anyone named Geoff is by default the ugliest person in the world. Rowley, Rickley, both the ugliest person in the world.

Rodney Mullen is by far my favourite skater. I used to skate, but I was terrible. I skated for two or three summers and could never kickflip to save my life. I could ollie a couple of stairs, but that's it. I resorted to learning some old-school moves, with my hands and stuff. It was fun, but eventually I grew out of it.

Your city has some of the best ledges ever. I plan on making the trek 2.25 hours this summer to expirence them first hand. Geoff is a sick name. I defend it because people say I spell my name wrong (Stephen, not Steven).
