the anberlin pre-order had ridiculous shipping. I only did it because I wanted the 3 extra songs. Unfortunately I didnt know that Best Buy had that same version for 10 bucks. oh well
I dont know how much shipping costs for this but I doubt its that much more expensive in all.

This CD is very, very good. IMO, blows the new Anberlin out of the water.

Wouldn't you say they're a little too different to be compared that way? I'm all for Relient K having a killer album but to say it blows Anberlin out of the water seems to be comparing two different types of music.

Agreed.
Plus, the new Anberlin is fantastic.

True, they are two very different styles of music. My take on Cities is this: there are a few songs ("Godspeed", "Adelaide", "A Whisper & A Clamor", "The Unwinding Cable Car" & "Dismantle.Repair.") that are fantastic. The rest just doesn't do a whole lot for me. Maybe it will grow on me after repeated listens, but Five Score has me the whole way through. Even in comparison to Anberlin's last album, Cities doesn't measure up to NTFP in the catchy department other than the songs I mentioned above. Maybe "blows it out of the water" was too strong a statement. I think that all the hype around Cities killed it for me. I was just expecting this album that would be the best thing I had ever heard and it didn't live up to that for me.

See I am the exact opposite...I enjoy every track on Cities while I only REALLY enjoy about 80% of the songs on the Relient K.
For me so far this year 1) Anberlin, 2) Relient K

i was way into the Relient K when I first got it. Now Im more into Anberlin. I'm sure when I buy RK I will be into that again. They're not really similar and I am happy with both CDs although neither just blew me away

I'll write a review for this when I have time, cuz my church usually has me write reviews anyways. Can normal users post reviews on this site? Or would I have to post it here or something?

I'm waiting to buy it.
However, I will chime in on Cities.
Amazing.
In my opinion, first Album of the Year candidate of '07.
