actually the bass player plays the wrong note for like an entire measure somewhere in the 2nd verse/chorus...funny that you say that.

ha ha ha ha wow. That vocalist fuckin blew and for playing amazing Matchless amps, they sure did have some shitty live tone. Band is a product of great studio production.
flawless?
dude can't sing
Save for the high notes, he can sing better than most bands live.

Good performance, but the best part of that song is the vocal melody for the chorus and they can't seem to reproduce that live.

if you want to get technical about it the bass player messed up like little bity part in the first half of the bridge (part after 2nd chorus "i feel the weakness..." while martin is singing and not playing) and if you want to be a whiny bitch i suppose you could say the singer's falsetto part in the soft chorus was a little "shaky" but come on don't be a loser, and as for everything else they shame most bands today with how nearly perfectly the replicate their cd...they sound amazing and those harmonies sung by the bass player are crazy high and done really well live, whoever said they are a product of the studio is insane. as for their guitar tone....it was a talk show, bands rarely sound 100% and i'm pretty sure i noticed the guitar guy on the left play a saldano head and the singer playing marshall to whoever said they play matchless (which do rule) but i will check again. anyone who says shit about this band or performance must not like anything. blink, nfg, +44....none of those bands sounded as good on kimmel as boys like girls just did

when i've seen them, martin only goes for the falsetto once or twice in the song so give him some credit for doing it every time in this performance, it's not exactly an easy note for someone with his range to hit
and I love how he said "philosophy"

I'm not bitching about it for fuck's sake, you n00bz are ridiculous sometimes.
I am a fan of this band, but like someone else said, they are obviously a product of overproduction on cd.

that was legitimate.
mad props for pulling off those vocals eventhough they weren't absolutely 100% perfect or anything. And yeaa those backups are intense.
I'm sure it sounded 20X better live too.
and I can't tell if the stage right guitarist is playing a Matchless or not, but certainly doesn't look like it. Looks like he has 2 heads down there, one Marshall and something else on the bottom. The lead singer is definitely playing all Marshall though. And like I said, probably sounded 20X better live anyways. They sounded a lot more solid than tons of other bands that have been there

But good performance.

At least some people get it.
Nah sorry having self respect means a little more to me than being on late night talk shows.
I would never support a band that is being sold like that as a product. This band wasnt playing local shows working their way up, they got placed on tours with bigger bands by their label. Sorry I actually believe in paying your dues.
Shut up and get naked.

if you really mean that its cool but im just highly skeptical its just like the people that are usually most in favor of being politically correct in the media normally the ones that are most likely to believe other wise, its just saying something because it looks good. not how they really feel or anything close... and thats straight up infuriating because theres a level of dishonesty and bullshit to it, but that too is a generalization im not saying everyone is that way cause there are a handfull of individuals that are different... so i cant discredit what you said. if you really feel that way its awsome but i have a tun of reasons to be a skeptic.

I don't really enjoy live music by 90% of bands...Just me...
But I actually enjoyed this performance!
To all the naysayers who say they're a product of overproduction, I just saw them live last night, and this video performance sucks balls to what they're actually capable of doing live. They played practically flawless the entire set last night and it was very impressive compared to all these late night junk videos.
Shut up and get naked.
haha ive not ready everyones bitching but i saw that and had to take part...

if you watch the performance that aired, the great escape, you can spot the dude playing two saldano's in a rolling rack thingy...i'm sure they have tons of amps the switch between probably
