I'm not the kind of guy who gets excited about shows easily. I usually have an alright time at show but I'm never blown away. John Mayer was something to be exited about.

This is John Mayer's setlist (in the correct order):

-John jamming by himself-
1. Belief
2. Good Love Is On The Way (John Mayer Trio)
3. No Such Thing
4. I Don't Trust Myself With Loving You (he announced the song explaining that the song is about him being an asshole, and that it is American to be an asshole)
5. Clarity
6. Who Did You Think I Was (John Mayer Trio) [I thinks thats what they played]
7. The Heart of Life (a verse by himself with the original Lyrics)/The Heart of Life (Continuum version)/the chorus of In Repair.
8. Waiting On The World
9. Bigger Than My Body
10. Why Georgie
11. I'm Gonna Find Another You/Jam
ENCORE: he moved onto a platform in the middle of the crowd
12. Stop This Train
13. Your Body Is A Wonderland (acoustic) - He talked about how the song gets made fun of and hes glad hes "taking it back."
-his band jams while he returned to the stage-
14. Vultures
15. Gravity - He announced the song like this, "I finally wrote a song that speaks my heart. It speaks my heart every night." Alisha Keys came out at the end of the set and sang a duet with him.

I have been to a lot of concerts and I have got to say this was one of the best show I have ever been to. You can tell he puts everything he has got into these songs and you can tell how much he appreciates where he is. If you ever get a chance to see John Mayer (even if you get stuck in shitty seats) you should do it. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Thats awesome, I'd love to see a full show of his. I only saw him in 2004 when he came to my school (Berklee College of Music) to do a clinic. It was cool, he played a few acoustic tunes and talked with people and answered questions and such. But that show last night sounds unbelievable.

Wow I wish I had been there for that. I have a recording of that clinic on my hard drive and it's some of the best songwriting advice I've heard. And you really get to know how John's head works and the way he constructs his songs even from the smallest guitar parts and ideas.

now I'm no John Mayer fan, but I do respect the guy and am not here to bash him.

That said, is "In Repair" one of his songs, or the Our Lady Peace song? Cause that would be the coolest shit ever.
