For some reason, I've never gotten into them. They're one of those bands that from what I've heard is amazing, yet I've never taken the time to get into. I tried to find a thread about them with the search function, but it came up empty. I think I'm going to pick up Kid A and Ok, Computer tomorrow. What are everyone's thoughts on them?

i have every radiohead album. and ok computer and amnesiac are easily my faves. i know everyone is nuts about kid A for some reason. but its my least fave. my fave song is street spirit (fade out) but that song is on the bends album. kid A is def trippy electronic radiohead and ok computer is def their most rockin album. but ok computer is a delight but on the "trippy electronic" stuff i prefer amnesiac. but you will enjoy my friend

first off i never claimed to be a radiohead fan... that is one of the very few songs of thiers i do like

secondly there is no wrong answer, when it comes to someones personal opinion

ok, so basically if you love rock and roll you have to love radiohead (its just my opinion, dont kill me). ok computer was a ground breaking album of the 90's. pretty much, they are legit, in every sense of the word :]

first: you aren't a radiohead fan

second: that answer is wrong as well

third: thom yorke supports gays so I could suck it and still be a fan

I've always considered them to be a really over rated band. Alot of people really really like them but I've just never gotten into them.

They remind me of ColdPlay which is also another band that people seem to really really like that I can't get into.

people who aren't into indie music don't like radio head because radiohead refuses to do what everyone else does. If that's the case, why are they so successful? Because they are better at what they do.

Edit*** I think the only people who understand radiohead and like, or respect them, are those who know something about music. You can't say that they aren't incredible musicians. There is no doubt about that.

Never ever compare Radiohead to Coldplay again.

That is all.

yeah I never really get the Coldplay comparisons. Coldplay will never do anything like Kid A which is one of the best albums of all time imo.

i love radiohead.
ok computer is my favorite album.
and yes i had the album and heard of them before panic! at the disco covered one of their songs.

i love panic! too.

i base my liking of music on just that. the music, not the personas that go along with music groups. that goes for all of my music choices.

Ok Computer > Kid A > The Bends > Hail to the Thief > Amnesiac > Pablo Honey
Switch Kid A and Ok places and I'd agree.
