I know that this might complicate the entire site, but has there ever been any consideration into making subforums? I think that the Entertainment Forum would benefit greatly from this, to differentiate between movies, television, video games, etc.

I think that would be a little messy. Plus, the sub-forums would most likely be dead like the music ones were. There's just not enough threads about books/movies, etc.

I think that it could definitely work. The music forum is tough to compare it because music genres are all opinion-based, whereas there is no dispute over what a movie is or what a book is or what a television show is. That's the main flaw of the music forum, along with the fact that people already talk about music in general. But when threads about TV shows or anything are made in general, it's often moved to Entertainment.

As for it being messy, I originally thought of it to clear up the cluttered Entertainment forum. There are so many stickys in there that you have to go down quite a bit just to see the new threads.

I think you missed the point. I was just saying that if you create subforums for a forum that's not even that popular to begin with, it would end up being a waste of time. I check the Entertainment Forum weekly and threads don't really get many replies unless it's about TV shows (they're stickied anyway). I realize that the Entertainment forum has become more popular lately, but in my opinion there aren't enough threads threads to fill these subforums.

You're probably right, just a suggestion.

Also, I suggest that the "Wednesday is new comic day" thread be stickied as that consistently gets posted in and the House thread get unstickied because that hardly gets posted in.

I know and I'm just giving you my two Canadian cents.

Hmmm I'll check the thread before I do anything because I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

Senatorlamb approves.
