I wrote this after my grandmother died. We where especailly close. If you've ever lost anyone you love I think you'll understand how I felt.

"With me"

I was selfish to try to hide my hurt inside
When the pains too hard to bear
I cry every night wishing you where here
Echoes of your laughter trickle down my spine
I can’t hold in how you’ve touched me deep inside
God took you too fast, just fifteen years together

I ramble on through my life
However I know I’m never alone
In everything I do you are there
I know you’re watching me
You never really left me
You are living still through me

When I breath you breath
As I laugh you laugh through me
When I cry I’m not alone
You are holding me
I wanted for you to see me succeed
All I do and all I did was to make you smile

So smile down from Heaven as you look at me
for as I walk through life your walking with me
