The responsible one has lost his touch
and gained the touch of his new young love
Or so he dreams of some distant day
when they might meet in just that way

But she has a different man on her mind
one of more years, of a different time
Used and used again, how does she stay afloat?
You wonder how she keeps that pretty head going.

She's got a set of priorities
that contradict all morality
Substances and Sexuality
Above herself and family

It seems as though we were made for each other
We both follow the same corrupted nature
