Hello- writing on behalf of the band The SmashUp
after spending the last year and a half on road supporting Warcon Records debut "being and becoming" decided to make some changes musically and vocally- can check out some of older material at www.myspace.com/thesmashup (http://www.myspace.com/thesmashup)
the band was on the full runs of 06 Taste of Chaos, Warped Tour and Gigantour, as well as strong Fuse support, so we'd like to get our best foot forward with new record and looking for a more diverse vocalist
the band is NYC based and rehearses in Brooklyn area-
new material is heavier and more progressive- kind of a combination of Maylene and Sons meets Deftones so looking for someone that can handle both screaming and singing as well
