At tonight's Nine Inch Nails (http://www.myspace.com/nin) concert in London, England, at least a dozen USB pen drives were found, all containing both hi and lo-resolution versions of the band's new video for "Survivalism," the first single off the upcoming album Year Zero. Astute fans also discovered the website TheWaterTurnedToBlood.net (http://www.thewaterturnedtoblood.net/) by looking at the time code in the video.

This is basically the AFI clandistine mystery. Cool for NIN fans anyway.

So, they cancelled the Monday date in Birmingham but carried on the rest of the tour?

On NIN.com, according to Trent's blog on the site, he says, "I simply have to not sing for a few days." That's pretty much all he says pertaining to any reason to the cancellation. After that he just apologizes and thanks everyone who was supposed to go to the show for being patient.
With Teeth was an amazing album. I really enjoyed it. I bought it and was a fan of NIN before the Year Zero concept, but the ARG really made things more interesting and made me anticipate the new album even more. I've loved all the tracks that have leaked and the music video for "Survivalism" is amazing. I'm highly looking forward to Year Zero.

Yeah, seriously. But as big an AFI fan that I am, I honestly have to say that what NIN is doing is some pretty cool shit.

The shit behind this album is so cool. I wish more bands would do something like this.

I like that video. And it's true that the whole "scavenger hunt" mystery is reminiscent of AFI, only more story driven.

I had to watch gay sex and I still was paying intention the whole time. Perhaps I'm too into the story.

According to ETS, there were two tubes of lube on the nightstand. Hahaha.
I liked a few tracks form their last album but I'll pass on the gay sex and just buy it when it comes out haha

Weird, the bridge in the background of that picture is the Forth Bridge, that's basically a trainline across the Forth River. It's about half an hour away from me in the car.

Nothin will beat the afi direction video thing - where fans had to figure out the directions from hunters writing on a mirrior.
