half the songs I write are about girls. it doesn't matter what you write about, as long as it is delivered in some unique way because if you don't you will sound like everyone else (brand new/finch/TBS in your case)

I fucking love lyrics from bands like Cake that are the simpliest shit that even a fourth grader could write, however the style and rhythm that they are delivered in make them good. comprende?

is it cause you are too dumb to understand all the words in my songs? do they really have to be that simple for you to understand? i dont like simple lyrics. it gives away the meaning to fast. i like stuff where you cant really understand the meaning you gotta go into deeper depth with it. we like 2 totally different type of writing so no need to say mine are lame or whatever.

and all of your songs are just as easy to comprehend dumb ass.

the point i was making is that you write songs exactly like a hundred other bands out there... one of which has been successfull. you lack any originality, and that makes your lyrics dull and dry.
