So, I'm in this band right now. One of 2 vocalist, AS OF TODAY. We had practiced today, and unnanounced to me they had brought in a new vocalist. ANOTHER NEW VOCALIST. We have 3 now. It just kills me that just because I can't sing super fucking high that they had to bring in another guy, within my vocal range I'm a good vocalist, I'll even say so for myself. But to go behind my back and just bring someone in without any kind of meeting or band vote or anything. Band politics suck. So, now they have given me the position of "designated screamer" how the fuck did we go from a pop-punk to a "screamo" band is beyond me. I'm really kinda angry right now. and the guy who I've been closest friends with and known the longest in the band tells me "well at least you are still in the band and we didnt kick you out." How fucked is that? Yeah, thats me the designated fucking screamer. My voice will be fucked within the first 2 months of this "new and improved" band..

well, i dont know anyhtin bout band politics but i guess just tell them what you think and maybe u can figure something out.

just accept the fact that you can't sing and quit the band... it's shitty pop punk anyways. you'll never amount to anything. just spend your time doing better things... like drugs

Yes, all I do in the band now is "scream"..demoted from lead singer to screamer..shit.

Hmm I would just look for a new band cause seriously that can't be fun if all you do is scream or at least talk to the other members or learn how to play guitar

Yeah, I plan on seeing how this works out but I'm talking to one of my other friends and I might join the band he's starting right now..so, hopefully... and if all I do is scream for 5 seconds in a song, its worthless...

just put the other guy in one of those big refridgerators until he gets sick and cant sing and be like "well ill just hafta sing again and since hes so unreliable hes not allowed in the band! woohoo yay"
