Dear messageboard connoisseurs,
If you are reading this I 'm taking it that by this point you realize that this is a shameless plug and either A) Don't care and just might be genuinely interested in what I have to say or B) are itching to formulate a condescending rant to tell me off with for posting about my band on your favorite message board. Regardless, I am eager for your replies because it gives me something to do while I'm at work! So I suppose this is the best time to bring on the shameless plug. Here goes! I sing for a band called Disarming Arctica. We're a post-hardcore five-piece based out of Long Island, NY (psh where else would we be from?!) and we've recentlly recorded three songs and posted them up on our myspace (www.myspace.com/disarmingarctica (http://www.myspace.com/disarmingarctica)) free to download for both your listening pleasure and or disdain. They weren't recorded in some million dollar studio, they were recorded in our best friend's basement studio, but all and all the quality is pretty damn good. I don't wanna play the ex. members game and cite our previous bands and I'm really hesistant of even doing this but...we're "for fans of Brand New, Glassjaw, Saosin, and The Sleeping". We're in the midst of routing a full summer tour that will take us all over the United States throughout Late May, June, July, and August. In our short three months as a band we've shared the stage with The Almost, The Distance, Forgive Durden, The Forecast, From Autumn to Ashes, I Am The Avalanche, Permanent Me, and countless locals. All we ask is that you click on our Myspace link and give our songs a fair listen! If you like them, please add us, download them, and tell your friends! If you hate them, please tell us! We absolutely LOVE feedback and criticism because it only makes us a stronger band! Thanks for your time! Sorry if I offended anybody with this shameless plug!
